50/20 Vision
Sep 4, 2011 • Genesis 50:1-26
Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
We don't always see with correct vision. Sometimes we see what is not really there (fear) and other times we see only what we want to see (selfishness). The statement, "hindsight is 20/20 is a good one, but... there is greater vision than just 20/20. In Genesis 50:20, Joseph reveals to his brothers that even when they tried to harm him, God was at work! Joseph was looking at life through the lens' of Grace. He now recognized that God's plan will always prevail even if it doesn't appear that way. We all need this perspective. Put on the glasses of Grace and see what God is doing.
