Decline

Sometimes the most powerful example is a negative example. The bible is not a collection of "feel good" stories. The book of Judges reveals a harsh realism regarding what it looks like to reject the Holy Spirit's leading and follow our flesh. Decline personally or culturally can be subtle and sometimes it's a sheer cliff into the abyss. There is only one way to stop spiritual decline... repent and allow Christ to rescue. Its time to be teachable.
